so today when i was riding in my grandparents rv on the way back to Eugene from Bend, i was intermittently reading "scarlett", daydreaming about Ireland, and staring off into the passing greenery. good gracious it was so beautiful! i couldn't get over it. it was just beauty beauty beauty beauty!!!! the only beast was listening to my grandma fuss, always quite an irritation. but anyways the beauty of the drive was quite a plus, nevermind the roughness of riding of riding on a couch without a seatbelt. actually for some reason i get pretty carsick, which just means i get a headache. i guess growing up reading and taking long car rides really helped me; i only get carsick when reading on a curvy road, or sitting in the rv. anyways. so another high point of the day (minus my exuberant exultations at the news that we were going home a day early) was biking home.... which was really not all that great because of a bitch of a headwind and a bitch of a hill/ mountain to bike over (bailey hill)...... i biked all the way up bailey hill without stopping! woo! infinitesimally i am getting back in shape!!!! woo! oh but really that stupid hill is such a bitch. the cars (and of this i too am guilty) go whizzing by and i silently curse them. the blackberry bushes' long... tracks reach over the guard rail to grab at my skin, so i have to weave over out of the bike lane to avoid them.... therefore in the path of said whizzing cars. also by the top of the damned hill i am weazing sooooo badly.... i sound like an old pair of bagpipes. quite nice. add to that my grimace with each breath. BUT BUT BUT. i feel good now, minus a stick neck from trying to get aerodynamic against the nasty headwind and a headache from lack of oxygen..... exercise!!! woo! i'm such a lazy bum not to go out an exercise. oh but anyways. enough whining! a beautiful day! and for the fun to be had tonight! woo! and the trials tomorrow!!! and a week of work with fun people! :-) life is pretty good now. oh but i wil post another post of an email i read that my mom sent to joe... talking about me. woo. peace.
